Referral Staffing Solutions is recruiting an Maintenance Technician for a client in Sparta, WI. â€¢Facilitates the set up and/or changeover of production machinery and equipment by exchanging clamping fixtures, stamping dies, pattern programs, and raw materials as required by the customer order, and ensures proper machinery performance.
â€¢Performs additional machinery and equipment adjustments and/or repairs as required to maintain product quality standards
. â€¢Cleans and lubricates machinery parts, such as shafts, pulleys, gears, slides, and bearings, and performs routine preventive maintenance.
â€¢Diagnoses machinery and equipment malfunctions affecting mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic systems using appropriate testing equipment and procedures. â€¢Visually inspects and precisely measures parts to detect wear, misalignment and/or other problems, using micrometers, dial and digital calipers and dial indicators.
â€¢Dismantles machinery and equipment, replaces defective or worn parts, adjusts machinery mechanisms, and tests for correct machinery function as part of a preventative maintenance program. â€¢Removes dust, dirt, grease, and waste materials from machines.
â€¢Maintains machinery spare parts inventory, records parts consumption, and reports depleted parts inventory conditions.
â€¢Develops and debugs product programming for computer controlled machinery, and prepares programming modifications.
â€¢Maintains assigned tools and toolbox.
â€¢Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.
â€¢Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description, and Supervisor’s instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.
â€¢Responsible for keeping own immediate work area in a neat and orderly condition to ensure safety of self and co-workers.
â€¢Will report any unsafe conditions and/or practices to the appropriate supervisor and Human Resources.
â€¢Will immediately correct any unsafe conditions as the best of own ability.
Wage: $16.00/hour Monday â€“ Thursday â€“ 6am â€“ 4:30pm. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE Associate’s degree (A. A.) in Applied Science, majoring in Mechanical-electrical Technology or equivalent from two year College or technical school; or three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
