YOGURT FRUIT MIXER
Position Summary: The Fruit Mixer is responsible for coordinating and performing the fruit mixing process and sending the product for packaging while focusing on safety, quality, and productivity to ensure customer satisfaction of all finished fruit products. Responsibilities:
1.Performs sanitation duties by washing and cleaning equipment prior to and after production. Equipment includes, but is not limited to, pipes, valves, tanks and fruit hopper.
2.Performs sanitation duties as required on Master Sanitation Sheet (MSS) on yogurt room.
3.Coordinates delivery of fruit to B-room and record lots numbers on appropriate fruit sheet.
4.Cools product to temperature as required by make sheets and standard operating procedures.
5.Learns and performs proper sending procedure for all products, i.e. yogurt, cream top, etc.
6.Completes required production documentation, i.e. quantity of product sent by run and quantity of fruit used for each run.
7.Monitors pH levels during the manufacturing process.
8.Communicates with employees at shift change to transition job responsibilities that will ensure safety, quality and productivity of all employees and customer orders.
9.Performs clean-up duties at end of shift, including, but not limited to, disposal of cardboard and garbage, and returning tools and plugs to board.
10.Cross-trains and performs other positions as needed.
11.May perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
1.High school diploma or general education degree required.
2.One or more years of similar work experience preferred.
3.Forklift experience preferred.
4.Attention to detail, basic math skills, and having the ability to read, understand, and follow SOPâ€™s and GMPâ€™s is required.
5.Focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
6.Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers and work in a team or independently with a positive attitude is required.
7.Dependability, flexibility, energy, and efficiency is required.
1.Ability to meet the physical demands of the position per work screen protocol is required.
